(Strip Number 4298, Original Publication Date, 14 February 1983)
Panel 1: We find Elly in bed listening to the various creaking and dripping noises the Pattermanse makes at night with a look of panic on her face as she thought-bubbles that when John isn't there, every sound becomes magnified.
Panel 2: She then thought-bubbles about how weak and foolish she feels for being spooked at night because she's a grown woman and thus shouldn't be.
Panel 3: She then mulls over getting up and checking out if something strange is going on in the house.
Panel 4: She decides against it because if she has to die of fright, she'd rather do it in bed.
Summary: Well, she isn't going to lack for camera-in-my-house letters this time. A lot of people are going to remember nights alone and being creeped out.
