(Strip Number 4297, Original Publication Date, 11 February 1983)
Panel 1: As she dresses Lizzie so she can play outside, Elly tells Anne that she bets that John's having a good time at his convention.
Panel 2: As Lizzie loosens the drawstring that's cutting off the blood flow to her brain, Elly gazes wistfully in the distance and lists all the good things he's enjoying, things like fancy food, guest speakers and people with similar interests to talk to.
Panel 3: Anne shoots back with a comment about how the last time she'd attended something like that, she wound up with seventy-five bucks worth of Tupperware.
Summary: I'm not sure where Lynn is going with this, to tell you the truth. She's either making an annoying comment about how housewives always get the short end of the stick or making a perfunctory comment about how the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
