(Strip Number 4279, Original Publication Date, 18 January 1983)
Panel 1: We start things off with an excited Mike telling Elly "Mom! Mom! Our class gets to go to the art gallery tomorrow!!!"
Panel 2: A happy Elly tells him "That's nice. You'll get to see paintings and sculptures and many other fine things, Michael."
Panel 3: He replys by telling her that there's something even better than that about the trip.
Panel 4: The fact that that thing is that he doesn't have to sit in a classroom and that this pleases him confuses her.
Summary: This is because she doesn't really remember how much her children hate school. She probably also doesn't remember hating it herself because she lives far away from parents who remind her of things like that.
