Today's strip doesn't just slam peewee hockey players by depicting them as whiny, snot-nosed, unappreciative brats who'd rather die than be grateful for the hard work of mothers who have nooooooooooo help and nooooooooooo time to themselves. It's also a slam against men in general because the impulse to leach off and patronize busy and underappreciated women never leaves them.

(Strip Number 364, Original Publication Date, 11 January 1983)

Panel 1: We find the Klotz Automotive Bruins suiting up for their game. Gordon is whining that someone lost his shin pads, Lawrence is yowling 'Ow', Daryl Smythe needs someone to tie his skates and Mike bawls 'MA!!!' out of sheer inertia.

Panel 2: Their coach asks them if everyone's ready.

Panel 3: As he ushers them onto the ice, he says "Let's go, MEN!!"

Summary: As I recall, today's Lynnsight is brought to you by the concept that team sports are a pointless waste of time meant to blight the lives of poor, underappreciated mothers by forcing them to watch something created in Hell to confuse, bore, disgust and terrify them. It's also sponsored by the idea that men never grow out of leaching off Mother and treating her like a maidservant.
