In today's strip, Lynn continues to think that children's dialogue is akin to what they spout on sitcoms. The odd way in Mike expresses his relief that Elly has cooled off tells me that she never really spent much time near children.

(Strip Number 4273, Original Publication Date, 8 January 1983)

Panel 1: As he looks over the corner to where John and Elly are, Lizzie asks Michael what's happening now.

Panel 2: Mike tells her that Elly said she was sorry and now they're hugging.

Panel 3: Mike sighs in relief because, as he tells Lizzie, he's glad that's over.

Panel 4: As they walk to their rooms, Mike tells Lizzie that parents might be a great thing to have but they sure can drive you nuts.

Summary: Since we know that Lynn believes that children are great things to have despite their nuts-making capabilities, the Lynnsight will either be the Little Lynnie show or another installment of "Kids!!! Waddayagonnado?" Theater in which she expresses her bafflement at their odd need for reassurance when she and Rod argued.
