Panel 1: We find John at the clinic telling a little girl named Melissa that he cannot check her teeth if she doesn't open her mouth.
Panel 2: His asking if that's the general idea is met with a smug frown.
Panel 3: The strip most of the people who still read newspapers will get starts with Melissa making a cry of pain that would sound better coming out of Farley's mouth.
Panel 4: John wonders at this because all he has in her mouth is his dental mirror.
Panel 5: He again tries to use the dental mirror....
Panel 6: ....only to have her balk and yelp in "pain".
Panel 7: He then makes that stupid palms-out pleading gesture that Lynn thinks that a shrug looks like because he's confused.
Panel 8: His third attempt to use the mirror is met with a Charlie-Brown like AAAAAAUUUGGGHHHH!!!
Panel 9: He then asks Melissa why she's acting like this when she was such a brave little patient the last time.
Panel 10: Jean points to the waiting room where a woman is sitting and tells John that Melissa's mother is listening.
Summary: The Lynnsight is all about how Lynn thinks that the Melissas of the world fake being in pain to embarrass
