(Strip Number 359, Original Publication Date, 28 December 1982)
Panel 1: John tells a sulking Elly that he's sorry but he's never really liked parties.
Panel 2: In the company of two or three people. he's fine but he falls apart in a crowd.
Panel 3: Since her need to be thought of as a hostess weighs far more on her mind than the trivial consideration of whether John can survive her party, she whines that twelve people have already accepted
Panel 4: He then promises to try to fall apart graciously.
Summary: The interesting thing is that the Lynnsight indicates that it's Lynn herself that has a problem with crowds; Rod, you see, is quite the social lion and it probably bothers her.
