(Strip Number 354, Original Publication Date, 17 December 1982)
Panel 1: We find ourselves at John's clinic. As they work on a patient, Jean asks him what he bought for Christmas.
Panel 2: Because she thought that he'd bought her a dress like she probably suggested, she asks if it's pretty. John guesses so and tells her that yes, it is partly see-through.
Panel 3: He does, though, doubt that it will, as Jean asked, make her the sexiest woman on the block.
Panel 4: When he tells her that that's a lot of expect of a food processor, she gets mildly gobsmacked.
Summary: The Lynnsight is all about how Lynn would rather get an appliance than lingerie her husband bought her. The interesting thing is that I can hear the mocking, sneering tone of voice she's using in my head right now because we're dealing with someone without much empathy. If he doesn't buy the right size, he's screwed and if he has to ask, he's screwed worse.
