It's a slice of irritating life as Lizzie gets ready for bed despite the hindrance of a malevolent jackass older brother who needs a thirty-year long time out and idiot parents who can't cope with her having a personality.

(Strip Number 6093, Original Publication Date, 7 November 1982)

Panel 1: We start things off with Michael grinning like a God-damned idiot as he jumps on a gobsmacked Lizzie's bed.

Panel 2: Lizzie tells him to get off her bed.

Panel 3: Since he doesn't listen to her, Lizzie calls in Elly to rid herself of the smirking, hateful annoyance we call Michael.

Panel 4: Since the Pattersons bought a mattress that can't stand up to the abuse a nasty little piece of crap who'll end up writing abuse porn for Lifetime subjects it to, Lizzie complains that it's all covered in lumps now; Elly promises to straighten it out.

Panel 5: Lizzie reminds Elly that she can't sleep on lumps and points out where they are.

Panel 6: Having tucked Lizzie in, Elly tells her that she's remade it head to toe before asking if she's comfy.

Panel 7: Elly tells John, who's reading his paper, that Lizzie's in bed and asks him if he's going to kiss her good night.

Panel 8: John would like to do so but Lizzie's surrounded herself with toys.

Summary: The 'logic' seems to be that Lynn can't figure out how Katie could possibly sleep with all that stuff surrounding her; this is because she's not that bright and can't distinguish between lumps underneath someone and "lumps" around that same person.
