(Strip Number 4249, Original Publication Date, 29 October 1982)
Panel 1: We start things off with Elly dressing Lizzie up as an angel, Lizzie trying very hard not to let her because she doesn't understand why and John asking Elly if she's dressing Lizzie up as an angel.
Panel 2: As an upset Lizzie tries to take the tight thing out of her hair, Elly asks "Why not?"
Panel 3: As Lizzie struggles to get out of the horrible thing her mother wants to put her in, Elly asks what's wrong with a little wishful thinking.
Summary: This isn't the first time a small child who doesn't want to wear a costume to please her parents is presented as being demonic for not wanting to do something confusing and uncomfortable. A decade latter, April is thought of as being a witch because she struggled to get out of the aaaaaaawwww, cute teddy bear suit because she was out of her comfort zone; she also got blamed for creating a scene every December for not wanting to sit on Santa's lap because someone didn't want to see what a mall Santa looked like from Katie's perspective.
