Summary: Lynn seems to have been landed with the notion that the odd little not-yet-humans that make their cruel, unfair and evil demands on her time simply need to be put to work in order to be acceptable company; that should cure them of their love of toys she has to pick up and make them too tired to ask hateful, hurtful questions like "Do you love me at all?" or "Why do you flee in disgusted horror whenever I'm around?"
