(Strip Number 314, Original Publication Date, 7 September 1982)
Panel 1: As they walk to the bus stop to get to class, Mike tells Lawrence that he gets bugged every night about homework.
Panel 2: You see, he's tired of his parents' incessant nagging about getting it done and doing it properly.
Panel 3: John tells him it's easy and Elly says it's fun.
Panel 4: Lawrence tells him that they say that because they don't have to do it any more.
Summary: He's right to do so; Elly actually seems to need to wall herself off from her family to do anything because she has ADHD and John is a stubborn idiot who regards new facts as a device of Satan so homework night at their houses back in the fifties must have been sheer hell for their parents.
