In today's strip, Anne reveals herself to be someone who likes to scan the crowd for people to judge but doesn't like it happening to her.

(Strip Number 312, Original Publication Date, 1 September 1982)

Panel 1: Now that they're at the mall, Elly tells Anne that she thinks shopping malls are fun because there are so many people to watch.

Panel 2: She then asks Anne if she likes to people-watch.

Panel 3: Anne says that she likes it only if she's not one of the people being watched.

Summary: This mildly hypocritcal remark seems to come straight from Lynn's twisted mind; she seems to love to make sweeping declarations about other people but hates it when people look at her and judge her. You don't have to be religious to see how wrong that is; you just have to know right from wrong.
