(Strip Number 310, Original Publication Date, 30 August 1982)
Panel 1: As our story continues, we find Elly standing on Anne's front porch; as a very pregnant Anne greets her, Elly tells her that she's looking wonderful.
Panel 2: Elly then gushes that September is such a wonderful time to have a baby.
Panel 3: Anne, having collapsed into an armchair, tells her at this stage, any time is a wonderful time to have a baby.
Summary: Even though I'll never become pregnant myself, I have an imagination and can readily see Anne's point; the whole 'motherly glow' thing that used to dominate the media covers a lot of discomfort, apprehension and just plain old depression.
