(Strip Number 7124, Original Publication Date, 29 August 1982)
Panel 1: We start things off with John and Elly, who are out for the evening, going in one direction and a young woman going in the other.
Panel 2: As said young woman passes by, John turns his head around to get a good look at her; it should be noted that he has the same creepy grin as the freak from the Enzyte ads and bulging eyes that make me think that their might be another visible bulge on his person a bit farther down.
Panel 3: The strip most people will see starts with his face still fixed in a repellent leer.
Panel 4: Elly states the obvious by asking him if he ogled that girl.
Panel 5: John tries to stammer a denial thusly: "Well, heh....not really...I just...." eliciting an angry "Come on!" from Elly.
Panel 6: You see, she knows ogling when she sees it and that was practically a leer to her; given that it was way past a leer, her standards must be different from our own.
Panel 7: He responds to that about getting all defensive about how he's still allowed to look at other women.
Panel 8: He repeats his question and gets a response that he may be allowed to look.
Panel 9: He should, however, not look as if he's looking.
Summary: Since John spends the rest of his pathetic life leering like a horny teenager at anything reasonably attractive, he never did learn how humiliating this sort of thing must be for Elly or how the young women he leered his frightening leer at probably still shudder in horror when thinking of him; verily, this sort of thing has earned his perverted cranium a date with the Lucky Clucker sign.
