(Strip Number 4209, Original Publication Date, 16 August 1982)
Panel 1: We begin the proceedings with a tight close-up on a baffled and happy Farley's face as he makes a sort of Whurf noise.
Panel 2: He expresses his joy that his pack has come back for him by making a YARK!! noise and affectionately body-slamming a confused and angered alpha male named John Patterson.
Panel 3: As he contentedly licks Mike's face, John observes that he thinks that Farley missed them.
Summary: Since dogs don't understand things like vacations or the need great grand-mothers have to not have pets in their houses, we're left with the realization that he thinks that they ditched him so as to chill with the pack's omega male. Now that his 'family' is back, he's as happy as can be. We also have to remember that Lynn has no idea how dogs think so the Lynnsight will be a masterwork of anthropomorphism.
