In today's strip, Lizzie is astonished by the majesty of nature; granted, her terms of comparison relate to John but since she's two, it makes sense that she thinks that way.

(Strip Number 298, Original Publication Date, 4 August 1982)

Panel 1: We start with an exterior shot of the train as it travels through the Rocky Mountains; as the train heads towards its destination, Mike says "Look, Lizzie! We're in the mountains! As high as you can see, there's rocks and cliffs and trees."

Panel 2: We zoom in on the kids as an amazed Mike tells Lizzie that he never thought anything in the world could be go huge.

Panel 3: An equally awe-struck Lizzie echoes this sentiment by saying "Not even Daddy."

Summary: This strip here should probably make someone's favorites list; that's because it has Mike and Lizzie thinking, talking and acting like children who for the first time in their lives have seen something impressive enough to make them dumbstruck.
