Panel 1: I guess Elly is apathetic as well, since she doesn't use a question mark. Seriously, though, I can relate. I've had visits home where my mom couldn't understand that I didn't even want to look at the tv guide because that was too structured. I was going to flip channels until I found something I liked; that was all I was capable of. However, I'm guessing that it's not that Liz is overworked, but rather that we're about to be treated to a summation of Paul vs. Warren (vs. Anthony).

Panel 2: The way Elly has her head tilted, I can practically hear her thinking, "So you feel left out that others are married, eh? Maybe somebody's telling you something..."

Panel 3: Why does she look so angry? And why are her clothes still in the closet if she doesn't live here?!?!

Panel 4: How do you know how she feels, Elly? She as much as said SHE doesn't know how she feels! I like the profiles, too: Liz is young and firm, while Elly's face has dropped.

Panel 5: "So get married already!" Right? And ENOUGH OF YOUR FREAKIN' CHANGE OF LIFE, ELLY! At this point, you're not "going through it"; you're IT. You'll be menopausing and hot-flashing and arm-flapping when you're Iris's age.
