Panel 2: We zoom out to find him at the kitchen table; he hasn't touched his peanut butter and honey sandwich because he's sort of worried. He consoles himself by thinking to himself that she's just forgotten the time; heaven knows that she of all people deserves a night out.
Panel 3: So, he'll quit worrying and go to bed.....
Panel 4: ...as soon as he hears the hoverwagon pull up in the driveway.
