As you probably know, today is the Victoria Day holiday in most of Canada and National Patriots Day in Québec; for some unguessable reason, Lynn celebrates it by having Connie stiff-arm Elly's attempt to pry into the affairs of her kid brother.

(Strip Number 4175, Original Publication Date, 24 May 1982)

Panel 1: We start the week with Connie and Elly having coffee; Connie gushes about how she can't even begin to tell Elly how nice it is to be going out again.

Panel 2: She also can't tell her how much she enjoys being with Phil.

Panel 3: Since Elly's need to live vicariously through Connie and her sibling complex are also dating, she asks what exactly is going on between the two of them.

Panel 4: Connie executes a comic triple by saying "I can't tell you."

Summary: Something else will be demonstrated to having a passionate love affair and their engagement note will be the Lynnsight: Lynn's envy of Alan's freedom and her feeling that she's worthless without a maaayyyyyuuuunnnnn to dominate her and feed into her self-hatred.
