(Strip Number 4158, Original Publication Date, 5 April 1982)
Panel 1: We find ourselves watching Mike and Lawrence walking to school on a mildly rainy early spring day; as they do so, Mike smiles as he reminds Lawrence that it's only a few more days 'till Easter.
Panel 2: He also reminds him that it's report card day tomorrow; he isn't smiling about that, though.
Panel 3: Lawrence's anguished "Oh, no! Not again!" makes Mike say "C'mon; you don't get bad marks."
Panel 4: Lawrence grins sheepishly as he says "Worse than that; I get 'average'."
Summary: My guess is that Lawrence takes school a lot more seriously than Mike does; when he brings home a less-than-stellar report card, he's just as irritated at his lackluster performance as Connie is. Then again, he doesn't think that Mrs Hardacre is out to get him because she has no sense of human.
ETA: Lynn celebrates Holy Week by depicting small children Chomp-chew-glutting themselves on chocolate. At least it's not Mike telling Meredith that Deanna makes chocolate breast milk on Easter, the tool.
