In today's strip, we have Mike thought-bubbling bad wordplay in order to deflect an accusation John made about him.

(Strip Number 230, Original Publication Date, 17 February 1982)

Panel 1: We find ourselves watching Mike tell John that he doesn't need to be told how the toy truck works because he already knows how.

Panel 2: John, who doesn't like being told no, saunters off and says "Okay, Mister Know-it-all."

Panel 3: Mike tells him that he's not a know-it-all.

Panel 4: He smiles a Gorey-eyed smile as he thought-bubbles that he's a know-it-some.

Summary: It's sort of appalling to have to know that Lynn's about to hit us with some sort of screwed-up insight that reminds us that she doesn't understand children nor especially want to.
