Today's strip matches up more or less exactly with Monday's Lynnsight; that's because it probably still sort of bugs Rod that his mother tended to want to mother him.

(Strip Number 227, Original Publication Date, 10 February 1982)

Panel 1: As they walk to the gate, John tells Carrie "I'm married, with ten years University, 3 degrees...and my mom treats my like a kid!"

Panel 2: Carrie's response is "I'm twenty-eight years your senior and you're my son...what can I do about it?"

Panel 3: Will stifles a giggle as John tells her to stop growing older so he can catch up.

Summary: This is going to go on a lot of fridges and be sent to a lot of parents. As for John, I wish I had his problems.
