Today's strip is another example of Lynn whining about how unfaaaaaaaaair it is that Aaron and Katie had more options when it came to Christmas presents.

(Strip Number 204, Original Publication Date, 23 December 1981)

Panel 1: We find ourselves at what Lynn would end up calling Philpotts Department Store; as he and Will check out the toy department, Mike asks his grampa if there was a Santa when he was little.

Panel 2: Will says that yes, there was; not only that, he also got to sit on Santa's knee just like Mike does.

Panel 3: Mike's asking if that means that he was exactly the same causes Will to disagree slightly.

Panel 4: As he looks at all the toys, toys, toys that are available, Will says that he wasn't as generous.

Summary: The Lynnsight will make it quite clear that Lynn somehow blames her children for the fact that there's more options for what goes under the tree than she and Alan had. It seems somewhat wrong to blame children for the fact that she and Rod could afford more but there it is.

ETA: This year's Christmas card is slightly different from those of years past; I miss the funny snowmen.
