(Strip Number 6075, Original Publication Date, 6 September 1981)
Panel 1: We start the proceedings with an exterior shot of the Pattermanse as Lawrence yells for Mike.
Panel 2: As a smiling Mike emerges from either a door or window, Lawrence tells him to come on because they're mixing cement near his place.
Panel 3: The boys look on in appreciation as a workman SHOVELS and SCRAPES cement mix into the mixer; in the background, we see another man smoothing down the sidewalk for a house that a third man is building.
Panel 4: They continue to be happily fixated on the machine as the cement SLOSHES around inside.
Panel 5: As the machine goes on spinning, Lawrence asks Mike "Pretty neat, huh?"
Panel 6: Mike looks on and says "Yeah......"
Panel 7: "....it's like watching my sister eat."
Summary: While it's true that small children aren't the most refined eaters, laughing at them for not having lived long enough to develop fine muscle control or an awareness of what manners are seems somewhat nasty; this "Lizzie's a slob, LOL" punchline is made worse by the fact that Mike and the others eat their food in a manner that would revolt zoo animals.
