Newsletter, May 2010

For those of you who are interested, here's the May Newsletter:

Our website can be found at www.fborfw.com.
You can read the strip online here daily.
We post our major news items in our News Blog.
Get signed books in our store.
Search an archive of FBorFW strips here.

We hope all of you in the Northern Hemisphere are enjoying Spring so far! We have our Spring Thing game online, and as always we have e-greets for every season. By reader request, we've also added some get-well greets for the injured.

Want to win a signed print? Join in the Ned Search contest. Every Monday we hide Ned in a new location, and if you find him you can enter our weekly draw. The odds are good, and the goods are odd - if you're over 18, you can request a Ned Tanner doll instead of a signed print. Have you seen Ned's Website?

This past month, we polled our Facebook fans to see what kinds of games our readers like best. Expect new word games, math games and jigsaw puzzles! We're always interested in your suggestions for our site. Look us up on Facebook or email us with your suggestions! By the way, do any of you have FBorFW tattoos? If so, we'd love to see them!

The National Cartoonists' Society Reuben Awards will be held in New Jersey on May 29th - the Memorial Day weekend. Lynn will attend. She's looking forward to catching up with old friends...(well, not THAT old!) She'll first be staying with Bunny Hoest on Long Island. Bunny and John Reiner do "The Lockhorns" and several other well known comic features. Lynn and Bunny have been friends since her first Reubens in 1981.

Treasury editions of Lynn's strips are in the works. We'll share updates as we get more information.

We've had some people asking whether we'd be releasing the FBorFW animated specials on Blu-Ray. Please let us know if you'd be interested and we'll look into it!

Ojibwe word of the month Universe: Ishpiming A Site We Loved

Like comics? Check out what's available from Lynn's syndicate's website! This month's studio photo shows the front of Uclick's building in Kansas City. Great people, great content.

Correctly answer the questions below and we'll enter you in the draw - the prize is a limited-edition FBorFW print from a print run of only 2000. We'll select five lucky winners at the end of the month.

1. Name three images that appear in our Spring Thing game.

2. In what year did Gord get his own apartment?

3. What's the last word in the strip from April 27th, 2002?

Last Month's Answers:
1. Butterscotch appeared in our Eggscape game.
2. For breaking into Anne's house to get her son's potty.
3. Farley was eating Kibble King.
