Today, we find out that Elly cannot follow comically-complex directions.
Panel 1: We start things off with Elly, who's holding her class schedule, asking the Information Mutant where Room 301D is. The Mutant proves to speak Lynnglish by answering back with a hearty "Sure".
Panel 2: Elly is told to take the yellow stairs on the left and then the hallway to the Wright wing where she is again to go left.
Panel 3: Her deer-in-the-headlights stare at being told to turn right at the elevators tells me that not even the reminder that she's in the wrong place if she winds up at a glass atrium will help her having gotten totally confused.
Panel 4: The Mutant tells her that if she has any more questions, she should not hesitate to ask; Elly's silhouette assures her everything is fine.
Panel 5: A few minutes later, Elly is asking Professor CondescendingTwit where Room 301D is.
Summary: This has happened to every last one of us at one point in our lives so I'm going to go out on a limb and say I can't find too much to snark on. Granted, she should have written things down, asked the Mutant to repeat things or even which building 301 D is in so as to minimize her confusion but she's forgotten how to do that over the last ten years.
ETA: Now that it's less than ten days to Halloween, Lynn reminds us that her parents think that April is a blessing that's really disguised.
