Melissa Missy T O: FBOFW became especially dear to me when I was pregnant with my daughter at the same time Elly was pregnant with April. My daughter was also born in April, and I've followed April's life along with my daughter's! I could really relate... to so many of the issues they dealt with through the years.
Susan I: I can't believe that ANY paper would drop this strip! I don't think there's ever been a better one - and as the early days are revisited, I have discovered that I never got to read those at all!
Donna P: This has always been my favorite cartoon. I dearly love Farley!!
Jackie M: I'm 61 and the column made me laugh out loud and sometimes cry. It mirrored my life in so many ways and my friends and I would often laught about the daily strip. My boys now 35 and 36 used to buy me the books and they now read it with their ...families. Lyn is to be admired for her Canadian creativity, her willingness to deal with all subject matter and her tenacity for struggling through so many personal issues. I will contiue to read it faithfully.
Jaime L: Was introduced to this comic my first year of college and so started to collect all the books and read in the paper daily. Most true to life comic ever and am happy with the original strips being reran because they were the most true to life of a young couple raising kids.
Traci M H: I hate that our newspaper dropped the strip! I always looked forward to it. POS newspaper!
Michelle M C: I know, it's my favorite. I don't understand why they did that.
Barb C: I first read the strip when April was born so am liking the old ones. Since we spend the summer away from our AZ home I'm able to get the strip every day on the web.....wonderful.
Alice Marie L: I am a very big fan of the strip; have collected almost of the books, look for the calendars every year. I always enjoy reading the strip in the paper and usually during the year will start with the first book and read through them all. To me it is... a part of my everyday life. Our son & daughter grew up with Michael & Elizabeth & enjoy reading the books even now that they are married with children of their own. This comic strip will always be number 1!!!
Pat S: Have kept up with FBORW since the beginning and so grateful to my local newspaper that they are printing your comic strip from the time it began. I love it and it is always the first one I read every morning with my cup of coffee. . . .
Jan M: FBORW is my homepage - I can't seem to start the day without my daily read. Keep up the great work Lynn!
Eileen M R: I grew up with FBOFW as our bathroom reading material and have always identified with Michael as we seemed to age together....Michael and Dee had their babies as I had mine and Dee's breastfeeding experiences gave me the humour I needed to survive those late night feedings myself. Thanks to my husband I now have an extensive, autographed FBOFW collection that just keeps growing. Elly remains my idea of the right kind of parent and I strive to be "that mom" to my babies....and FBOFW is still the reading material of choice in my bathroom!
The Eaton's catalogue was also known for being bathroom reading material.
Tom M: really wish the Star Ledger still ran the daily strip
Virginia S R: I have faithfully read FBOFW since the first day it was published in our paper so many years ago.
Laurie F: FBFW has been my favorite comic strip for as many years as it's been available. I was so sorry to see it end
Maureen S: Love the strip! Love the humor! Love the "real-ness"! Thank you!
Leanne H: I'm looking forward to the announced treasury collection! Hope they will be published in color.

Syndicated Comic Strip For Better or For Worse: Hi there folks; we've just sent out the newsletter for September. We've also just posted a couple of back-to-school egreets, in case you know a bummed-out student or two who could use a September pick-me-up. http://www.fborfw.com/fun/egreets3/index.php?page=schoolFBorFW.com is The Official Website of Lynn Johnston's comic strip For Better or For Worse.

Betty M S: I really miss seeing this comic strip on a regular basis since my darn local newspaper dropped it. :(
Barbara W T: Mine dropped it, too, but that was when I discovered the website. I have it set as my home page, and just read the strip there every day.
Beverly J: I read the newspaper online these days....but get my daily fix of FBorFW online too.
Elizabeth V: My family has always enjoyed this comic because we have a Michael (my brother) and an Elizabeth (me) in our family. Problem is, we also have a Jill (the eldest in the family) but I guess she could be our April. Oh, and its hard to believe the official run of the comic ended 1 year ago today.
As I read this I had two thoughts (well, three, the third being, "Why do I read this?"):
1) If this Lynn-worship continues, they'll abandon Coffee Talk and the picky faces it attracts.
2) Other than Jim Inman, are there any men who slaver over Lynn and her strip like the majority of posters here? This week we have one comment from Tom and one from Jaime, who might or might not be male (the user photo is of a cat).
