Liz's fiendish plan for the day is deliberately mispronouncing words.
Panel 1: We start off with Elly holding Lizzie in an unsafe manner as she points to Michael and asks "Who's this? Is this your big brother? Who is this?" Lizzie says "Miggah!"
Panel 2: When Elly asks who Farley is, Lizzie answers with an enthusiastic "Goggie! GOGGIE! GOGGIE!"
Panel 3: When Elly asks Lizzie "Who am I?", she says Ma-Ma!!
Panel 4: She then holds Lizzie up to a mirror and asks "Who's the pretty girl in the mirror? Is that you? Who's in the mirror?"
Panel 5: Lizzie says "Meee!! NIVABEFF!!" This saddens Elly who was probably hoping that Lizzie would again say "Ma-ma."
Summary: A normal human being would look at this distorted slice of everyday life and tell you that this is a small child that cannot quite form words the same way adults do; they would also note that at least the child understands the world and gives things and people their right names as best she can so this is a positive thing to see. Lynn, however, is not a normal person; Lynn chooses to see this as Lizzie trying to drive poor, ill-used Elly crazy by deliberately mispronouncing words. If she were obedient, she'd speak English properly out of the womb.
