Oh, dear. Lizzie's still crying and Elly still can't figure out why.
Panel 1: Today's reprint starts with Elly asking a bawling Lizzie what's wrong. Does something hurt? Is it a sore tummy?
Panel 2: Elly reminds herself that Lizzie has no pins (whatever that may mean) or fever and then asks if she's either teething or hungry.
Panel 3: Having never learned that colic does not present with a fever and that screaming like a banshee cannot calm children down, Elly desperately asks Lizzie to tell her what's wrong. She also alarms anyone with a shred of decency by shaking Lizzie violently.
Panel 4: She then thought-bubbles that her life would be easier if children were born speaking English.
Summary: We're in for a week of Elly being at wits' end because she can't figure out what's wrong with Lizzie. Yay.
