The odd thing about the current example of revisionist history is that it almost makes you yearn to see Connie's trip to Montreal; I'd rather see a humanoid version of Miss Prissy from the Foghorn Leghorn cartoons try getting a MAYYYYUUUNNNNN than the insane drama currently unfolding.

Case in point: today's strip.

Panel 1: We start off with Mike building a snowman and Lawrence coming over to help. They greet each other.

Panel 2: Mike asks Lawrence if he still wants to fight. Lawrence says not right now.

Panel 3: Mike tells Lawrence that Deanna's family is moving to some place called Burlington; they aren't going to be here any more. Lawrence says "Oh, yeah?"

Panel 4: He then asks Deanna if a panicky-looking Mike told her he liked her.

Panel 5: Outraged that his friend would ask him to openly express his feelings, Mike starts to punch the crap outta him.

Summary: This is stupid, isn't it? All this drama for what? So Lynn can paint some kid moving down the 401 as an epic tragedy? Whatever. Just wrap this up so we can get back to Connie humiliating herself.
