I wonder how Lynn will close out the week. If I could actually predict her behavior, I'd say we were in for a bland filler strip but her refusal to be tied down by such a trivial thing as logic makes my efforts futile.

I guess I was wrong; this is a filler and it's blandly irritating.

Panel 1:We start the preceedings with MikeClone and Fauxley staring at FredFrank the Fish in his little bowl; this gives the kid an idea.

Panel 2: The idea is to put Fauxley on the same coffee table Frank is on. (This fish has always been called Frank; Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia.)

Panel 3: As could have been foreseen, the puppy noisily laps up the water in the fishbowl.

Panel 4: As a freaked-out RevElly yanks the puppy away before he drinks up all the water, MikeClone but-MOOOOOOMS that he wanted Fauxley an' Frank to meet each other....

Panel 5: ....so Frank had the dog over for a drink.

Summary: I don't recall the original Mike being this stupid. Self-serving, maybe but not as dense as a cinderblock.

ETA: howtheduck has just figured out something: MikeClone is simply parroting RevElly. Substitute Phil and Connie for Farley and Frank and you'll see what he means.
