It's the overly-hyped strip that we all know and loathe:
Panel 1: As Elly stands next to her with a baffled expression, Connie sighs that Phil's gone and taken off just like that.
Panel 2: She then yells that love'em and leave'em is the story of her life.
Panel 3: Elly asks her if Phil actually said he loved her.
Panel 4: This causes her to be confused by the repsonse "Okay, okay, LIKE'EM and leave'em, then."
Summary: Elly has no idea the Connie is angered that Phil seems to have thought of her as just a one-night stand and will eventually go to Montreal to try to make him see her as a soulmate; that's because she's too damned literal-minded and thought love had something to do with love'em and leave'em. Let's see what Kool-Aid Nation has to say about this.
