Well, now it's starting to look like the theme for the next little while is going to be "Mike tries to hide the fact that he has a crush on Deanna." This means that it's time for Lynn to do what she promised and expand on why Mira is evil incarnate. Simply put, the woman I called a well-meaning rhinoceros has goals, states them and has the moral fiber to see that they are achieved. Since she isn't a martyr howling in frustration about dreams that never came true (Hi there, Elly!!), she's a super-bad person.

Anyway, that's happening later. Right now, Lynn's gotta show how out of it she is.

Panel 1: The art teacher tells Mike that even if he forgot the one he was supposed to bring, someone might have a spare painting shirt he can use.

Panel 2: She then asks the class if someone has a spare shirt. Deanna replies that she does and Teacher thanks her for volunteering.

Panel 3: As he puts on the shirt, a mutant boy tells Mike that he's wearing a girl's shirt and thus has exposed himself to the cryptid known as the cootie: a creeping, crawling animal that has the weird power to corrupt a boy's bodily fluids and make him less manly. A second mutant seconds that emotion.

Panel 4: Mike thought-bubbles that that may be but since they're HER cooties, he's willing to take that risk.

Summary: The sound you hear is that of scissors cutting this dreck out of the paper so as to put it on the fridge.
