I'm not even basing this on the stereotype of the teenager who thinks all adults are foobs, and who has to be dragged into anything an adult suggests kicking and screaming. It's just the way a 14 y/o is wired: their mind is on a different plane from that of an adult, and they just don't want to disrupt their own routine, whatever that routine is. I think this strip would have been more plausible two years ago.
