We were left with a cliffhanger yesterday as a horrified and fugly Liz yelled STOP!! in the last panel.

We do not know if this means that she's upset because

a) she realized that children act like children

b) she had a premonition that Jim was dying

c) she realized that she's getting married on what would have been Anthony's fifth anniversary

d) she's getting cold feet

e) she had a visit from Aunt Flo.

I'd like to think we'd see "f) she tells Francoise to knock off all this step stuff" but I know better.

It's "D": a momentary attack of cold feet combined with "A": Liz wishing children would not act so childishly. Poor Francoise, living with Elly 3.0.

Panel 1: As she exits the hoverlimo to head off to be married to a douche, she tries to calm herself down. The insensitive oaf she calls a father asks her if she's nervous because he's stooooooopid and useless.

Panel 2: We pan out and see the car surrounded by lavender silhouettes. One one them must be the Exposition Fairy because he/she/it explains that Liz, John and the bridal party are now here. A smaller one, meant to be Robin, asks when he can have the ring so he can swallow it and ensure Wacky High jinks.

Panel 3: Liz tells Eat Dirt that he can't have it until the procession starts because she doesn't want wacky hi jinks. It's safely in the pocket of John's lavender-grey tuxedo jacket. Why she decided to remind Robin that John was his grandfather is beyond me.

Panel 4: John makes a big production of screaming and fishing through his pocket as if he lost the rings.

Panel 5: He then tells the potential lynch mobcrowd he was just yanking them. Robin laughs but Liz and Dawn ain't as impressed.

Summary: John is stoooopid and useless. Film at 11. Also, Lynn doesn't know what follow-through means.
