We're making the rounds all right. It's just that we're watching the Pattersaints getting ready.
Panel 1: Today, it's John and April's turn to annoy us. We see April, whose lavender dress looks as if Edda Burber picked it out for her, helping JSTF with his tux. As he whines about how he needs to wear one at what started out as a simple wedding, she misuses the phrase 'family politics' in explanation.
Panel 2: As she gets his cufflinks put together, she reminds him that Anusthony's uncle is using the Pattersaints as uncompensated models for his fall collection.
Panel 3: As he bitches about looking like a clown in a tux (as opposed to being one 24/7/365), she tells him his teal cummerbund is upside down.
Panel 4: He asks her how she knows which way it goes, she responds that the pleats open upward as to catch food that is dropped at dinner.
Panel 5: She then resorts to a lowest common denominator pun by stating that's the reason it's called a crumberbund.
Summary: There are worse things than flashbacks and retcons. Also, the lavender and teal Liz picked is as garish as we'd expected.
