Oh, dear. It's Lynn's ongoing tribute to the neglect of the elderly.
Panel 1: We see Iris wheel Jim to the elevator in their building.
Panel 2: They are greeted by three generic old mutant ladies.
Panel 3: Iris engages in conversation with said misshapen women while acting as if Jim is not there.
Panel 4: Continuing to treat him as if he had the IQ of a houseplant, she shoves him into the corner and continues running her yap.
Panel 5: The poor wretch is left wishing that the walls could talk. That way, somebody would actually talk to him.
Summary: This is when Jim gets packed off to Sunset Manor. This is also where I've about had it with Iris. I mean, it's good that she has a life, I just wish she didn't think Jim's was over. Of course, I hate Elly more what with wasting her time interfering in people's love lives and ignoring him when he needs her.
