At the end of yesterday's strip, we saw Elly at wit's end because she had to deal with the consequences of her own stupid actions and John trying to figure out what got her there. The last time this happened, he bullied April into apologizing for being rude. It seems to me that he will not do the same to Liz. If he does try to calm her down, we're probably in for a repeat of the time he went all creepy uncle so fasten your seat belts and keep a bucket handy.

Panel 1: April tells Elizabeth to calm down. This, of course, causes the huffy bitch to rant that that's easy for her to say.

Panel 2: After all, she can go to the beach with her friends and watch television because she's not a freaked-out bridezilla who wants a big fucking show and is pissed off that she has to make it happen instead of having fate and faith provide it.

Panel 3: April shoots back that that's a low blow, After all, she has to make sure Lawrence shows up with the ugly floral arrangements, send invites to people she's never heard of and will never see again and make ugly decorations that sicken the stomach of man. This causes Elly to look in because she loves a good argument.

Panel 4: The three of them react to all the unnecessary stress Liz has inflicted upon them by screaming at each other like Charlie Brown.

Panel 5: John shows up and asks if they're having a group hug. Elly responds that they're holding each other up.

Summary: Well, we were right about Liz begrudging April her summer vacation. That also means we'll see a lot of letters on CT condemning her because they think that a lack of planning on Liz of Troy's part is an an emergency on her part.
