It's Day 10 and counting of Lynn's latest reminder of how bad Elly's life was supposed to have been. I wonder if she realizes that she's inadvertently highlighting that her star character made things worse with her default negativity.

Perhaps she has because now she's shifted to vilifying Rod by proxy again.

Panel 1: We see John angered by the presence of a set of hand and foot prints and large letters "M" left in a cement walkway he was pouring. The reason is simple: John is stupid enough to think his five year old son won't act like he's five.

Panel 2: We next see him manhandling a terrified Mike who bawls "How did you know it was ME?" This tells me that John is about to beat the crap out the kid for a minor infraction. Again.

Summary: Between the inconsistent discipline he got from Elly and being the target of his Dad's rage at being mildly inconvenienced, it's no wonder Mike is screwed up.
