Panel 1: We find ourselves at Lilliput's at a Meet the Author Session. As Meredith stares at the poster advertising it, two silhouettes heap praise on Mister Humility by pointing out it's his next best-seller and that movie rights are in the offing. A third wants him to sign his book.
Panel 2: Lynn answers those of us who say that Elly never praised him by having her point out that a lot of important people have come to pay their new literary god obeisance. As proof, a guy with a mike asks the Delicate Genius for a sound bite. Any comparisons to his fame and that of Becky are nasty and should be avoided. He is not simply world famous all over the Regional Municipality of Durham. His is a nation-wide global fame.
Panel 3: We then turn our focus to his children. Robin asks Meredith what all the fuss is about by using a childish malapropism. She hasn't the vaguest idea.
Panel 4: After all, it's just another book so it's not something that means something to her. Mike's reaction to her lack of excitement is to be gobsmacked.
Hypothesis: A better man would realize that his child is less than thrilled because she's been left out of his life. Mike will spend the rest of the week railing about his ungrateful brats.
