Panel 1: Continuing on from "It never really began", Liz says that while they had their share of laughs, their relationship never really gelled. Warren relcuantly confirms that statement.
Panel 2: She goes on to say he was too much of a nomad (to use John's description of him) to make anything work. He agress to that too.
Panel 3: She, not knowing of his job offer to fly a chopper in a war zone, says that he too can find a nice girl and have a nice, tidy suburban life noew that he's decided to stay in one place. He says that sounds nice....
Panel 4: ...but would really tie him down. This is to prepare us all for the shock of finding out that he cannot attend the wedding because he's flying aid into Darfur.
Hypothesis: Now that Warren has seemingly taken his final bow, it's obvious that Lynn planned all along to make Therese the heavy. I, like howtheduck, look forward to cardboard villainy and ridiculous dialogue from a Franco-Ontarian cartoon monster.
