Amazingly enough, we don't change subjects from Saturday.

Panel 1: We start things off with Elizabeth at the counter asking if Francie is upset. Anthony allows as how their conversation upset her a little.

Panel 2: Liz asks if she was reminded that she has no intention of disrupting the child's relations with her birth mother. He says yes. I think she made that remark because she thought there was nothing to disrupt but she's at least making the right noises.

Panel 3: Anthony states the blindlingly-obvious fact that she's afraid she might lose one of her parents after September. Liz echoes her understanding.

Panel 4: She then takes Françoise aside for what looks to be an awkward person-to-person chat deigned to allay her fears. Whether it actually adds to them is something we'll just have to see.

Panel 5: Lynn ends the strip with Patented Patterson Precociousness.
