Panel 1: She asks him one question. Just, would he like more tea, not would he like more tea? or a cookie? or the drapes open? or the speech therapist to come back so he can ogle her? or a cup of tea? or to hear Mike's book read aloud again? She asks a simple question and gets an appropriate answer. Incredible; I don't know how she does it.
Panel 2: Not sure what it means when he thinks "two." But we shall soon see. And I'm glad the cookie embargo seems to have lifted, unless this was April's unsanctioned idea and she's going to catch hell for it. Anyway, I hope the April bashers are taking note of this. April goes to visit Jim and socializes with him instead of staring at him like he's a freak.
Panel 3: ??? Does she think he's flipping her off? Does he have to "go"? Or she thinks he does?
Panel 4: Ah, okay! She's reporting his progress! Or what she thinks is his progress?
Panel 5: Oh, jeez. Well, it's still better than when other Pattersons visit.
