Panel 1: So Elly and John were still in the apartment when Mike was born. And actually, I guess Mike lived in at least two homes/apartments before they all moved to Sharon Park Drive, because first he mentions the Toronto apartment, then says they moved to Milborough, then says they bought the house. Any FOOB experts out there care to weigh in on whether all of this is a retcon or not? (In other words, has Lynn told us in the past that they bought the house before Elly gave birth to Mike? I'm just curious.) Merrie's Lips of Loveliness are in overdrive here.

Panel 2: The bush is talking. Oh wait, it's still Mike, droning on and on and on. I'm curious as to how many years this all took (the purchase of the dental practice, then the purchase of the home). How on earth is Merrie following all of this? Does she know what retirement is? What a practice is?

Panel 3: This isn't exactly the best Michael's ever looked. He's getting a little bit of Grandpa Jim's chin, there.

Panel 4: Ding dong, the bun is dead! The ponytail is BACK! We will all sleep soundly tonight.

Panel 5: Heh. Well, it's kind of funny, and reminiscent of the old days of FOOB, I guess. Mike looks pretty small for a 5-year-old, though.
