Incidentally, one Yahoovian is interpreting the Therese-in-despair panel as Ant wishing he could help her, but not knowing how, and it's so unfair for us to jump to a conclusion. And "He tries to love her, Elizabeth," as in indicator that he was putting effort into the marriage and Therese was just a bottomless pit. Whatever. For me it's the text. As someone said, we're told that Anthony was "thrilled" with the baby, BUT, Therese was depressed. So it reads as if Therese had the wrong reaction, the witch.
