Based on yesterday's warnings, I found this new icon for today's post. Let's see if it lives up to all we have come to expect from the leader of Kool Aid Nation fine folks at Corbeil.
Panel 1 - The Creep Formerly Known as 'Stache is interrogating a 9 year old child in a night gown. You can tell its and interrogation instead of the fancy dinner the Lynnions are trying to portray because of the harsh over head lighting. Also because they appear to be sitting on crates covered in sheets. Please note the club sitting in the center of the table. Oh Noes! Its the secret cabin in the woods.
Honestly, even being a "date" so far this sound more like a job interview.
Panel 2 - Interrogation continues. Non-smoker? Social drinker? Are they asking questions about each other? Shouldn't they know this information already? They have checklists? What the hell kind of a date is this anyway? How do they read with their eyes closed?
Panel 3 - and Panel 4 - Yawn. More of the same. Albuqwirkydad and I have been watching Ice Road Truckers. Anyone else watch that? Makes me think of modern day Jack London stories.
Panel 5 - That is a totally new template of Liz. I have never seen her look like that. And I guess the Creep has an even temper. Pretty passive as far as I can tell. Just like JSTF. So yes Liz, you can be a screaming harpy just like your mom.
Panel 6 - WRONG!!!! Liz is NOT financially responsible at all. She lived two fucking years with a good salary, plus room and board and was sooo poor she had to move back to the nest. And then paid above market rent for "no questions asked" instead of investing in her 401(k) or whatever they have in Canada.
Liz's line of questioning makes me think the Creep is really setting himself up to be henpecked.
Panel 7 - Please insert basement playhouse gulag joke here.
Panel 8 - OMG!!!!! Are they really saying that with a straight face? Yep. Liz is "honest and sincere". Just ask Paul. And Therese can attest for Granthony. "Respectful and Faithful". Yep. Fits him to a T. Where's Adrianne's eye rolling icon?
Panel 9 - Was this the proposal? Reading the checklist of qualifications? Well, now we have been told what a great guy Stache-less is and how Lizthony is the perfect couple. Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm convinced. I have seen the error of my ways, and am now ready to join Kool Aid Nation and rejoice for the happy couple.
Panel 10 - See? Liz is soooooo in love!
I love Stacheless expression. He looks like he's been hit by a truck or something. Geez.
Panel 11 - Oh.. I see the point of the check list. So when Creep calls for the check so he and the Lizard can rush off to consummate their love, it will be punny. /golfclap
As nauseating as this is, it is no where near as bad as the CT letters to follow. I'm hiding under my bed now.
