GuessI'llSettlepocalypse, Part 15...or is it Part 25?

We're back in the present time, thank the gods. However, the Glurge never ends...

Panel 1: Francie asks her daddy for ice cream as she runs to the bench. She is definitely too tall and weirdly proportioned to be 2.5 y.o. Has LJ forgotten how to draw a toddler? Bigger head, shorter limbs. It's not rocket science, LJ. Sheesh...

Teh NoStache has his arm around the ever-bunned Lizard. They look like middle aged soccer parents. I know that they're supposed to look mature but I've NEVER seen parents in their mid-20s look like this...EVAH. Interestingly, Liz does not appear to be holding Teh X-Pornstache's hand while on the bench. She's SO totally settling. I hope the sound of the jail door clanging into place are echoing loudly in her empty little head.

Panel 2: Francie demands her ice cream and then begs. Don't beg, Francie. Never beg in front of a PatterSaint. They will hold it against you for the rest of your life and then they will steal your soul.

I have to say though, I think Francie is cute. I suspect this panel will piss off several of the Kool Aid Nation who will demand that Teh Lizard bring this Horrid Child of The Accented One back into line.

Panel 3: Teh Lizard proposes...a good solution. *gasps* I...I have no snark for this panel! (Adrianne, did you spike my drink with Teh Evil Kool Aid again?!?) Francie is drawn correctly, Lizard isn't being totally condescending, and Granthony isn't pissing me off with his usual Dead Gaze [TM]. Although I have to say his expression of surprise seems to indicate that such a novel idea has never occurred to him before. No surprises there. Asshat wanted progeny but likely had no clue as to how to raise it. Whoop...there's my snark. Sorry, Adrianne...jumped the gun. FOOB has made me all paranoid. ;)

Panel 4: Lizard O' Loveliness apologizes to Granthony for "usurping his parenting." Uh...LJ, if your dialogue was any more wooden, it would single-handedly avert global warming. Francie grabs Teh Lizard's hand to drag her off to lunch. Granthony's Dead Gaze returns as he experiences his natural state: cluelessness.

Lizard's shirt has magically grown from Monday. I'm glad it's not a crop top anymore because that shizz was totally 80s and Teh Lizard can't rock it. Still...it's not like these strips were drawn weeks apart. Why are the Lynnions unable to track even the simplest details?  There can't be that much crack available in Corbeil...

Panel 5: Bah. ha. ha. FEH!! Yet another stooooopid silhouette shot, to go with the stupid "pun." Personally, I think somebody should usurp this entire strip as it's currently the biggest pile of shit EVAH taking space from younger, fresher, funnier artists. Give it up, Lynn. Your time in the sun is over. Exit gracefully, not begging and pleading like Francie in the second panel.
