Panel 2: So this is the regular cafeteria, right? Wonder if Gerald is going to make some driveby remark, or yank April away from the table before she gets Special Needs Cooties. (I'm talking about Gerald's attitude towards SN kids, not my own.) Anyway, April should know at least three of these people from home ec two years ago.
Panel 3: Okay, she does remember them! And for those who don't remember, this is Jack's moment of glory. http://www.fborfw.com/strip_fix/archives/000853.php And I'll include this strip simply because it makes me ill. http://www.fborfw.com/strip_fix/archives/000751.php
Panel 4: ...
That better rate a go-off. If not, then what is this strip for? WHAT IS THIS STRIP FOR?!
ETA: And it's another contrived punchline. That guy, whoever he is, just happened to be in the same home ec class, and remembers cooking eggs, and makes the connection immediately?
And honestly, I don't buy a high school kid going out of his way to harass SN kids. At that stage, most kids don't CARE. They may not seek out SN kids, but they're not going to mock someone who does. IME, anyway.
