The one where it's John's turn do the catch-and-release thing with something he'd rather see dead.
Panel 1: We see the after-effect of Elly's live and let vermin live policy when John asks what happened to her. What happened to her is that because she did a catch and release thing with a damn mouse with all-season radials on her car, she drove into a snow bank and had to pay the tow operator sixty bucks.
Panel 2: In the old days, it was trap, snap and flush but today, 'we' drive our mice to the country.
Panel 3: John implies broadly that he would have laid down glue traps and tossed the carcasses in the trash with his conscience versus common sense speech.
Panel 4: Unfortunately, he didn't marry common sense because Elly expects him to break into Annie's house and get a potty......I mean, drive another mouse to the countryside.
Summary: We end this slice of inept life arc so that next week, we actually move the plot forward by having Elly select a university and career for her aimless idiot son.
